Adam Sandler has a comic so difficult to categorize because it is difficult for him to obtain unanimous approval. After trying with a good outcome with the way the drama Reign Over Me back to the territory that is more congenial satire over the top that takes a close character 'exaggerated' to the bitter end. Want to laugh and make people laugh on terrorism after taking part in a film about the post-September 11 is already a risk in itself even if there is nothing shocking (there are far more famous examples, or may not be Lubitsch and Chaplin's The Great Dictator). What is even more risky (or could be) is inserted into a topic so relevant to a constant reference to sex and collegiate. The first zoom in the movie is about pubic bulge our hero is performing on a beach in Israel, and it continues (although you will discover that not only sexual organ concerned) on several occasions. The gags are effective especially when Sandler focuses on the physicality of his character and those dedicated to the Palestinians and their relationship with Hezbollah. The film is full of cameos from Chris Rock to Mariah Carey through an uncredited John McEnroe and Henry Winkler. Who leaves its mark, however, is John Turturro in the role of the Phantom. After fulminating presence in the prologue Miracle at St. Anna role of a policeman is now a maxiterrorista that sets up a chain of fast food in the Middle East. To see him swallow two eggs in trasformatesi chicks and wake submerged by an enormous pool of female bodies and fight his fiercest rival is the film. Sandler has found his rival and is right in comparison with him to highlight its comic body explicit in a message of peaceful co-existence that can only be welcomed.
