I was at the breakfast bar that I was peacefully when suddenly I feel the overwhelming need to read the newspaper. Unfortunately, serious newspapers were already 'fully booked, so I had to settle for a copy of Business & Finance lying on the chair next to mine. On the front page was an article on so-called delusional Web 2.0.
was not the first time I heard this term and so ', curious, I begin to read the article in the hope that I clarify the ideas save the trouble of doing research on interniente.

The web and 'a APPLICATION .. or rather an application platform. In simple terms you can 'say that the web is' everything' that works with the http protocol.
Have you ever wondered why all the addresses you visit the "Web Browser" http://www.qualcosa.xx begin with? (Www is' just for the World Wide Web).
So the http protocol provides a method for exchanging data between applications and your web browser (which implements the web protocols). Ok, I realize that the distinction and 'subtle and not entirely clear to those unfamiliar with these technologies up close .. that 's why so much confusion.
What I can say with clarity and 'that:

Net) technologies for dynamic data exchange (XML and XSLT) with technologies for the recovery of asincorno data (XMLHttpRequest) technologies to distribute the computational load on the client side (Javascript) all made exactly consistent and unified in order to facilitate application development new concepts.
